Chocolate Dipped Bacon Roses Bouquet

You have heard of chocolate dipped strawberry bouquets for Valentine’s Day, right?  Well this is the same thing except with chocolate dipped Bacon roses!  Brit + Co. did a round-up of bacon gifts the other day and included this little nugget of happiness.  Since bacon + chocolate is all the rage now, I added the ‘chocolate dip’ to the original recipe.

I am not sure why everyone is just now putting these two magical ingredients together?  The combination reminds me of a chocolate-peanut candy bar…but much, much better!

Chocolate Dipped Bacon Rose Bouquet

All men (and most women) will go wild for this treat!  You can find the recipe to make a bacon rose bouquet over at instructables.com.

Side Note: It seems that the smell of chocolate and bacon drives my dogs crazy!  They have been acting bonkers all day.  If you have ever seen a mini dachshund try (endlessly) to get on top of a pool table, then you know what I mean.  Just remember to keep these out of reach so you do not have a sick dog (read more about my experience with Dogs and Chocolate.)

Honestly, I almost couldn’t believe the picture. Definitely caught my attention! I’ve never tried…oh, wait, no I have had bacon and chocolate together. Yep. Not bad…Are these the kind of roses a guy would be most excited about getting on Valentine’s Day? (= What an awesome idea. I’m floored. And impressed. Lynaea
