Christmas Light Solution

I realize that this Christmas light solution is a bit late in the season…but if you are like me, you keep your Christmas decorations up through New Year’s Day.  Yesterday I was looking through the Christmas sale items at Lowe’s and happened upon this great little gadget for easily turning on/off Christmas lights.  I had been struggling with moving the credenza, next to my mantel, to plug and unplug the lights.

Christmas Light Solution

For only $16 I purchased a Remote Control Power System which eliminates the need to move the credenza several times each day.  Simply plug the converter into an outlet, then plug the lights into the converter, and finally use the mini remote control to turn the power on and off.  There are 3 converters in the package, which all run on the same remote

I did not put up a Christmas tree this year, but this would be a great solution for hiding the cord and plug out of sight behind the tree.  You will find many uses for these converters around your house.  I quickly used all 3 and went back to purchase another set!

That’s brilliant! I’ve been crawling under the tree all season to turn the lights on and off, then picking pine needles out of my hair! Thanks for the tip. Love your beautiful mantle and stockings by the way….

    Hi Corinna,

Thanks for stopping by my site. I love this idea and I wonder if it would work on the outside lights. For some reason every year I can never get my lights on a proper timer.

    Now a follower!
