At my house, we cannot watch the Super Bowl without a batch of Cocktail Weenies. I’m not sure what it is about men but they are drawn, like magnets, to those little weenies and toothpicks. Do they love the flavor or is it the fun of eating food with toothpicks?
These are so easy to make and can be made the day ahead, then reheated for the party. Enjoy!
(2) 14oz packages Hillshire Farms Beef Lit’l Smokies
1 cup Bourbon
1 cup Brown sugar
12oz can tomato paste
Heat crock-pot on low. Place bourbon, brown sugar, and tomato paste in crock-pot and wisk until mixed. Add weenies and mix with sauce. Cover and cook on low heat for approximately 4 hours. Stir every 30 minutes or so. Serve with toothpicks.
