This past weekend I spent a few hours with my little girlfriends. Since Easter is just around the corner, we chose to do a craft with Easter baskets. I have had this project in mind ever since I saw the girls’ (sorry excuse for) Easter baskets when we were cleaning out their garage earlier in the year.
Pink Glitter Spray Paint
Pink and White Rhinestones
Elmer’s Clear Glue
I picked up a few Easter baskets at the dollar store and spray painted them with pink glitter spray paint. Once dry, the girls glued large rhinestones onto the handles. We found that it was easiest to start gluing the rhinestones from the bottom up, so they did not slide around before the glue dried.
Warning: Do not use Gorilla Glue with kids…it seems that it does not wash off hands. I learned this one the hard way. Sorry girls!
