I have accumulated nearly 20 years of magazine tear outs (magazine pages that I have torn out to reserve for a later date). The pages are a combination of recipes, organization solutions, decor inspiration, and garden ideas. For years I wrestled with storing, and later finding, the necessary page. I have finally found a solution which is both functional and pleasing to the eye.
I used magazine files and flat storage boxes in bright colors which stand out against the muted decor in my office. I separated the recipes into 7 major categories: appetizers, soup/salad, main dishes, side dishes, baking, drinks, and events/holidays. Then I broke down each of those categories further and separated the pages into file folders inside the magazine files. It is amazing how quickly I can find and file new pages away…and I love the look!
