My husband and I have a pool table in our dining room. We do not have children and our relatives do not live near-by, so we do not need a traditional room for ‘dining.’ While I was all-for the pool table, I was not interested in all of the pool table accessories that seem to follow along. So I came up with a creative solution for our pool table cue rack.
I found this antique plant rack at a local antique store. Normally a plant rack would sit on the ground, but I mounted this one on the wall. I painted it a pretty peacock blue then distressed it. The top two shelves hold plants, but the bottom shelf houses the pool cues and other pool table accessories. I am really happy with the final product!

Great idea and great show of creativity! I love the color that you used! :)

Thanks for stopping by!
I wish that I could do something like this, but the walls of my house are terrible for hanging anything on.

I’m a huge fan for Command Strips…but they obviously would not work for heavy shelves!
Nice idea! functional and creative.

Looks great! Wish I was more creative like that. I never would have seen the treasure in that plant shelf in my mind’s eye!
